The opportunity

This team leader role will report to the US Client Services Director and manage a small, but highly motivated, insights team.  The US business is a huge focus for the CGA business and as a result this team is set to grow significantly over the next 6-12 months.

A confident team leader, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring your team, to achieve not only the team objectives but their own personal development goals as well.

Working closely with our commercial team based out of Chicago, the Insight Manager role is crucial to delivering our client service philosophy and best in class insights in order to support continued business growth.

Job Requirements

  • Educated to degree level
  • Any experience in the field of market research, business intelligence or consultancy
  • Proven ability to run multiple short-term projects with ambitious targets and tight deadlines
  • Experienced at managing projects and delivering briefs from cradle to grave
  • Experience with remote working and tele/video conferencing

CGA are a global consultancy bringing market-leading insights and analytics to some of the biggest FMCG businesses operating in the eating and drinking out sector.  Think of the major drinks and food brands that you come across when visiting bars, restaurants, hotels and bars and you have our client base.   As a result, we work with our client’s insight teams, brand managers, category development teams and the Exec to advise on understanding and improving the performance of brands such as Heineken, Guinness, Budweiser, Bombay Sapphire, Jack Daniels and literally hundreds more!  Combining the global reach of Nielsen, and the on premise expertise of CGA – this role will be focused within the international Nielsen CGA team.  This team deliver best in class insights to a large, and growing, American client base and, over time, this role may require short working visits to the Chicago office or to US-based client offices typically sited in New York, Chicago, San Francisco or the west coast.
